Proved success from the 1st cohort!

I wanted to say a big thank you for setting up this wonderful course. It's been so much fun to learn new things that l've never come across before. Your first chapter on 'Setting up your portfolio' opened my eyes to how the business works and how to improve my portfolio to meet different needs. I've found my passion in a particular area, and l'm eager to focus on that.

Steal my strategy

Hi again 👋 I have 14+ years of experience in UX design, and I've seen different times in tech.

Over the years, I've developed a strategy that helps me be sought after. I simply update my portfolio every year at the end of the year.

No matter if I am looking for a job this year or not, I do that to always be ready for new opportunities and to reflect on my career path.

You can find my current portfolio here.

End-of-year hiring freeze

Most of the companies freeze hiring until January while exhausting budgets and vacation season.

Bad weather

In the Northern Hemisphere is dark and grey now, thus quiet on any other activity or destruction.

New Year’s resolutions

Even if I am not looking for a job, I like to reflect on my progress over the year and plan the next steps.
