Steal my strategy
👋 I am Inès Mir, a principal product designer, hiring manager, and content creator.
I have 14+ years of experience in UX design and all these years I update my portfolio in November.
End-of-year hiring freeze
Most of the companies freeze hiring until January while exhausting budgets and vacation season.
In the Northern Hemisphere, November is a dark and grey month, thus quiet on any other activity or destruction.
New Year’s resolutions
Even if I am not looking for a job, I like to reflect on my progress over the year and plan the next steps.
